Miami Inspired Poolhouse
This poolhouse design blends a fresh, modern vibe with natural textures and a seamless indoor–outdoor flow. Our client’s inspiration was One Miami Hotel-we brought the Miami coastal vibes to the desert of west Texas. Here’s a breakdown:
Indoor Lounge Area
Furniture: Crisp white sofa with plush textured pillows (faux fur and woven neutrals) anchors the space. Two sculptural rattan-and-white chairs add warmth and organic texture.
Coffee Table: A striking sculptural piece resembling carved stone or driftwood—acts as a focal point and ties in the natural, earthy aesthetic.
Storage & Display: Floating wooden shelf with slatted detail and simple décor objects adds architectural interest without cluttering the space. This was also used to decoratively hide an AC unit that was otherwise an eye sore.
Accents: Tall potted greenery brings life and softens the corners. Neutral rug grounds the seating arrangement.
Extras: A bar cart under the wall-mounted TV adds both function and a touch of hospitality.
Outdoor Covered Living Space
Structure: Vaulted wooden ceiling with exposed beams, stone fireplace, and draped curtains create a cozy yet open-air retreat.
Furniture: White sofa with structured, neutral pillows and woven-frame chairs with white cushions mirror the interior’s palette, creating cohesion. Pops of deep blue in pillows and throws energize the look.
Coffee Table & Accents: Clean-lined rectangular table contrasts the more organic interior table, with a decorative centerpiece. Flanking side tables provide balance.
Greenery: Potted bamboo-style plants frame the fireplace and soften the hardscape.
Flow: Large sliding glass doors connect the two spaces, making the poolhouse feel like one continuous lounge zone that spills out toward the pool.
The design balances modern minimalism (crisp white furniture, sculptural tables, clean lines) with organic warmth (rattan textures, greenery, natural stone, wood ceilings). The result is a light, inviting, and elevated space perfect for entertaining or relaxing—stylish enough for a cocktail hour, yet cozy for lounging after a swim.
