How It Works
-
Step 1: Preliminary Meeting
We'll have a brief 30-45 minute meeting, at no cost to you, via Zoom. We'll discuss the general gist of your project and I can answer any questions you may have to help determine if we are a good fit.
-
Step 2: Consultation
This is where we will get into specifics of your project. We'll discuss all things such as your style, budget, specific elements you like, and anything else that will allow me to complete the best design to fit all of your wants and needs.
-
Step 3: Design Process
We'll meet to review design boards or renderings I've created based off of our Consultation. Our consultation will be so in depth, I’m confident we'll be very close to right on the mark with the first design. Of course, things change and we leave room and time for one revision. Should we go further than the first revision in a major way, we will re-discuss cost and timeline-as both of those elements can change with revisions and we want to remain realistic throughout this process.
-
Step 4: Behind the Scenes
Once, all design and or construction elements are approved, we'll have a full binder dedicated to your job that will be shared with you and your contractor should you have one.
Side Note: Any contractors that will be needed will be up to you to choose. I'm happy to recommend companies I've used in the past, but I leave up to you to decide. They will receive our binder and will have a detailed outline of how we've designed the job.
-
Step 4 Con't: Behind the Scenes
Product Ordering: All approved products will be ordered by me and delivered to our warehouse until installation time. If a full renovation is underway, we will pick out larger items such as lighting, counter tops, appliances, flooring, etc. together and will most likely be ordered by your contractor.
Site Visits: I'll make visits as necessary, however, the binder that will be presented to all contractors will be so detailed, they may not even have to contact me.
-
Step 5: Installation
Once any labor that was needed has been completed-we'll come in with all of the 'pretties', as I call them, to complete the job. Sometimes this can be done a little bit at a time or all at once. Delivery of products can be variable-so we'll work with those timelines as they come in so your project can be as complete as possible as soon as possible.
