Less is More

Our clients recently downsized and wanted pieces that ‘fit’ this space. SBH and our clients were incredibly pleased with the outcome.

  • A smaller space doesn’t mean many small pieces. Instead, fewer, larger pieces make the space seem more grand, without feeling cluttered.

  • The wall art and area rug were some of those larger pieces we incorporated.

  • The area rug filled the space so that the chairs are able to slide back without getting caught on the edge.

  • This client loved neutral colors with a pop of green throughout.

  • Keeping function in mind, we customized this wall art to fit around the security panel that couldn’t be moved.

  • Large decorative mirrors help expand the room.

  • A coffee table with hidden ottomans or modern tv tables underneath keep the space clean and minimal, but allow for expansion when the family comes over.

This space was a lesson in restraint; fewer pieces, better choices, and a layout that actually works. It’s proof that when everything is intentional, you don’t need more . . . you just need right.
